Light Farms Offers You the Best From Prosper ISD

  • On Site Schools: Coming Soon

    Republic Property Group has invested in your child’s education. We designed Light Farms with the idea that your children will safely be able walk/bike/run to award winning schools. We donated 11 acres within the community for Propser ISD to build an elementary school, with plans for more on site schools in future phases.

  • Elementary School

    Grades K-4 will be able to attend Rucker Elementary School. There are currently 657 students enrolled at Rucker. A new elementary school will be built in the Light Farms community on land donated by RPG, projected to open for the 2015 school year.

  • Middle School (5-6)

    Fifth and sixth graders will attend Rogers Middle School. Rogers has 33 classrooms, 9 science classrooms and labs, and state-of-the-art Fine Arts classes for journalism, theater, band and choir. Enrollment is currently 848 students.

  • Middle School (7-8)

    Grades 7-8 will attend Reynolds Middle School, with 45 classrooms, 6 science labs, 4 computer labs, and quality Fine Arts for journalism, theater, band and choir. Current enrollment is 823 students.

  • High School

    Our High School students will attend Prosper High School for grades 9-12. Sitting on a 100 acre site, this school boasts a 100 seat instruction facility, a 1000 seat auditorium, and unrivaled athletic facilities. Enrollment is currently at 1400, with growth capacity to serve 2000 students.

Our Accessible Location Allows For Work + Play

Strategically located, Light Farms is less than 15 minutes from shopping, dining and entertainment in Frisco and McKinney. The main road into the community will be an exit off the future Dallas North Tollway (DNT), making it even more accessible.

Driving Times From Light Farms

  • 5 Minutes from Light Farms you can reach downtown Celina, Prosper ISD schools, and shopping, just blocks from Preston Road.
  • 10 Minutes south of Light Farms is Frisco, home of FC Dallas, the RoughRiders, Stonebriar Mall and west Plano’s business corridor.
  • 20 Minutes east is McKinney. West is Denton. Go South and you’ll hit Addison and the Galleria Mall.  Southwest is DFW International Airport.
  • 30 Minutes south is downtown Dallas, the Arts District and world-class dining.
